Ferretti Yachts newest model, the Ferretti Yachts 860, available for delivery in October of 2022, is the third yacht developed by architect Filippo Salvetti with interior stylings by Ideaitalia. Staying true to the brand’s “Just Like Home” mantra, the 860 is available in both Classic and Contemporary moods; classic featuring darker and warmer colours, and the latter being a blend of paler and cooler colours. Both stylings are only accented with the introduction of floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the main deck.
Following the helical staircase down to the lower deck, the 860 features a 4 cabin layout, with the full-beam master midship, moving forward into two opposing guest cabins, both with en suites and the full beam VIP cabin forward.
The privacy of owner and guest is prioritized as the multifunctional kitchen is separated from the salon with sliding doors and the semi-raised helm station allows for direct access to the two double cabins with their own bathrooms in the crew quarters.
The cockpit area feels more spacious with the two facing sofas and the glass parapet at the stern creating more openness and allowing a better view of the beach club below. From the beach club is access to the garage which can contain two water toys, a two-seater jet ski and a tender up to 3.95 meters, both easily launched with the standard lowering transom.
The foredeck has another seating area that can be converted from a dining area to a large sun pad, and the flybridge design, yet to be finalized, including the potential of a freestanding furniture design alongside a large multi-functional bar unit and an optional jacuzzi.
The Ferretti Yachts 860 can be powered by either 1800 or 2000 mph MAN V12 engines with preliminary numbers showing a top speed of 32 knots with the larger option.
