Patented by the Ferretti Group and jointly designed by the Engineering Department with its partners Besenzoni and Centro Stile, this movable hardtop has already earned Riva’s new masterpiece the title of “convertible luxury yacht”. Riva 88′ Florida is 26.84 metres long and, in the words of its creator, the designer Mauro Micheli, is the spiritual successor of the “Bahamas”: “In my view, Riva 88 – finally renamed Florida, in line with another Riva icon – is the new Bahamas. My aim, especially with regards to the interiors, has been to reintroduce a number of vintage materials from the 80s, most particularly wood. I specifically chose to use elm wood with a “peach skin” finish thus creating a soft feel.”
